Why We Think They Are Great!

These two kids are quite a pair. They make us laugh all the time.

So, here are a few reasons why we think our kids are the best:

They sometimes like to do what we ask. This little one has continuously climbed up on and stood on edges of everything he can...couches, stairs, beds...but every once in awhile he obeys and is happy about just sitting.

They find cleaning to be the best reward. I can threaten to take away chores with Aliyah if she is being naughty. Hope this never backfires on me! We have to hide the vacuum from Joshua or else he will never let us put it away.

They make the silliest of faces:

They will help clean up after meals even if that means climbing out of one's highchair, scooting across the table to help finish off sister's breakfast while she is going potty. So nice of him!

They love to pretend and usually get along while playing (usually). There is still a lot to be learned, but we have come to find "trading" is a good option. Sharing is too hard, but trading...that can be done.

Again, they make us smile with their crazy faces. Joshua sometimes makes it look like his eyes will pop out.

They find joy in the simple things. Like for instance, do you know how great it is to have playdough fingers? It can be quite hilarious if you ask Aliyah.

Lastly, they just are so cute. I love hearing Aliyah sing. She is the singer/dancer all day. I love that she always has a song to go with whatever she is doing.

And this little man is just a little clown. He is always making us laugh.

We have such a cute niece and nephew! Thanks for posting this so we can see how big they're getting. And I love the video; Aliyah is an excellent singer! :)

Yay Aliyah! She's such a great singer. And love the fact that Joshua is taking after his Aunt Jenny and finishing up his sibling's meals (I mean, seriously, no need to waste!) They are darling. Way to make cute kids.
