Sunny California!

See our adventures of August in the following four posts!

We were able to stay a couple days after the wedding and went to Sea World with Jason's family. Aliyah seemed to enjoy it even though it was so hot.

The San Diego temple at night. It is such a gorgeous temple!

Jason, Aliyah and I then hit the beach for a little while before our plane left. Aliyah had to experience digging her toes in the sand and also eating it.

Aliyah saying goodbye to California as we head back home.

We really enjoyed our vacation, but are also glad to be back home and have some structure to our lives. We loved being able to see our families and spend some time with them.

Gerrit and Rebecca's Wedding

Jason and I met up in San Diego to attend his brother's wedding. It was a beautiful sealing ceremony. We wish you the best in life, Gerrit and Rebecca. Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day.

Aliyah was trying to discover the secret garden during the reception.

I sure do love these two!
A cute moment with Grandpa and Brynlee.

Rebecca with her flower girls.

The food was delicious and Luke most definitely approves.

Cuddling with Grammy after a long day.

Family Time

Aliyah and I said goodbye to Jason for a week and a half while he went back to work and we stayed with my family.

Aliyah had fun getting to know her cousins and especially loved the attention of everyone.

I loved being able to see my new niece, Macey. Too bad I was snuggling her more than taking pictures.

Camden, Aliyah and Brooklyn

Aliyah got to enjoy swinging, swimming, playing in the sprinklers and eating popsicles.

She looks so mad in this picture, but she really was enjoying the airplane swing.

I was able to celebrate my birthday while I was there. I was completely spoiled with peach/blackberry cobbler and even a special breakfast. Thanks family for everything! We love you so much.

Jenny & Josh's Wedding

It was a beautiful wedding for my sister Jenny and her husband Josh. I was grateful to be present for both her endowment session and the sealing. I wish them all the happiness possible through this beautiful eternal marriage.

The cute couple!

It was a crazy winding day, but Jenny still looked gorgeous as ever.

My brother, Caleb, waiting with Camden outside the temple.

My other brother, David, with his beautiful girlfriend, Bridget. It was so fun to see you both!

Hannah and Brooklyn waiting for the bride and groom to appear.

Jenny with all her nephews and nieces. I love how sweet Camden was to Aliyah by making sure she stayed seated on the stair.

I love this picture of my two favorite people! Isn't he so handsome!?

Aliyah about had it at the reception. She didn't want to wear the bow, she couldn't crawl in the dress, I didn't let her have any cheesecake, but she is still so cute when she is mad!

We had a great time and we are grateful to have Josh be a part of our family.
