For the past four years I have been able to enjoy the Thunderbirds coming to town for the Air Force Graduation. I had worked right across the freeway from the stadium and each year my work would have a BBQ and we would watch the jets fly directly over us. This year since I was no longer working I decided to attempt going with Aliyah, but we tried a new location. It was way more crowded than I thought it would be, but we enjoyed ourselves.
Here is Aliyah waiting for the jets to make their appearance.

I was slow with the camera and so many of the pictures weren't the best, but you get the idea. They are just crazy!

Here's a little bit of the show for your entertainment. Sorry about the shakiness, wind blowing and a little baby crying. By this time Aliyah had enough and she was ready to call it quits. I just wanted to catch some of it so that Jason could see it since each year he has been working during it.
Aliyah has been trying now to crawl around, but this is the outcome of her attempts. She gets really frustrated with herself and just cries until I "save" her. She would rather sit or stand. I think she just has one of those personalities that likes to do it right the first time and if she can't do it yet, then she won't until she figures it out. She is definitely like her mommy and can be quite the perfectionist.
This is her new found talent and she thinks she is so amazing with her one-handed standing. She will stand here for a long time and just switch off hands. Really she is quite the show-off. She always has to make sure that we are watching her.
I can't help but take lots of pictures of her. It is a good thing we have digital cameras these days. She is just too cute when I get the camera out.
Or, she likes to be like mommy and pull faces when the camera is out. Silly girl!
