Crazy Summer Days!

We have been crazy busy here at home. Aliyah had a very high fever a couple weeks ago, which then she had a rash once the fever broke.

She lived in diapers and off of popsicles. We are sure glad that we are past being sick.

Jason's little sister, Natalie, came to stay with us for a couple of days the following weekend. Aliyah had a swimming buddy, and I had an extra set of hands to keep up with the little terror. We loved having you here, Natalie!

As promised, a video of Aliyah swimming. She wasn't as active as she usually is, but it is still fun to watch.

We took Natalie back home and spent a little time at Grandpa and Grammy's house. Aliyah loved being outside and eating the grass. She also loved exploring all the different places around their home and testing out the stairs.

Aliyah has been testing her boundaries lately, and knows when she is being naughty. She gives us a sly little grin and slowly eases her way to whatever it is that she isn't allowed to touch. The cupboards have been a daily challenge for me. She doesn't want the tupperware cupboard, but would rather have the pans or cleaners.

The funniest thing lately is Aliyah and Jason have a game they love to play. Jason growls and runs after Aliyah and she will cling to me if I am holding her, or will run/crawl away quickly to find me. She gets a kick out of it. Let's just hope that it doesn't cause her to be scared of her daddy one day.

This was one instance of their fun. Sorry about the quality, it was late at night and pretty dark.
